About Bijan Sarhangpour

Bijan Sarhangpour is the current CIS Director and former owner of Baku Oil Services (BOS). He has decades of experience as an international engineering specialist, and he maintains an excellent reputation in his industry.

Love of Fencing

Since he was young, Bijan Sarhangpour has had a deep love of fencing. He has competed in dozens of world championships, and he holds multiple medals to his name. He shared his love of fencing with his son, Rouzbeh Sarhangpour, who passed away in 2016.

To honor his son, Mr. Sarhangpour agreed to support the Iranian Fencing Federation in the completion of the Isfahan fencing hall, which has been named Rouzbeh Sarhangpour Fencing Academy. He announced the academy’s launch in 2018 alongside BOS.
